More Fun in the Sun

Today we met my gorgeous friend/neighbor Nicole and her daughter Madison at our community pool. We had a great time just visiting and catching a few much needed rays (as you can tell from the picture of my white legs). Thanks Nicole for meeting me on short notice!

Insomnia!

For the last couple of weeks I have experienced random bouts of insomnia. Last week I went to bed as usual, however at 3:00 in the morning I was wide awake. I stayed in bed trying to convince myself to fall asleep and finally gave up and got out of bed at 4:00 a.m.. I needed to be up by 7:00 to get ready for Isaac's soccer game, so I just threw in the towel and stayed up. Anyways, I am now battling another case of insomnia tonight. My entire family has been in bed for hours and I know I should be in bed too. But I can't stand just laying in bed, so for now I'm up. Even though I'd rather be doing this...

Black Mountain Pool

Today we met Tiffney, Callie, and Melissa Cooley at Black Mountain Pool. The kids had a blast! Isaac never stopped moving and Ava was jumping in the pool face first. There's nothing better than waking up, throwing on swimsuits and relaxing at the pool. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention, wear the kids out and take a long nap?

Soccer Anyone?

Isaac is playing soccer this summer for the first time and loving it. He counts down the days until his next game and lets EVERYONE know exactly how many goals he gets. We are proud of our little soccer player!

Ava likes to cheer on Isaac at all of the soccer games and puts on his soccer gear whenever she can get it!

Pine Valley

My parents just purchased a cabin in Pine Valley in March and we went for a little get away with my family. Isaac was able to fish with either his Dad, Great Grandpa, Uncle Chris or all of the above everyday. Ava and I hung out at the cabin a lot. We were only suppose to go up for 2 days, but ended up staying for 6. It is definately a hard place to leave!
P.S. The rattlesnake picture is definately NOT my doing. Matthew had somewhat of an obsession with the thing. He says he now understands Steve Irwin a little better.

California Here We Come!

For Isaac's birthday we went to Sea World and Legoland. We had a blast going to the beach for the first time and just spending time together. I have to say, it was really hard to leave San Diego's 70 degree weather for Henderson's 108.
